Viewshed

This tool visualizes the viewshed from a given point in a LiDAR point cloud. It allows you to load LAS/LAZ files, set parameters for the viewshed calculation, and visualize the results in various modes.

Note: WebGPU is required for this tool to function. Ensure your browser supports it.

How to use

  1. Go to the Load tab, choose a .laz/.las file, and confirm the load.
  2. Switch to the Process tab; position the rays and set the sample counts — for panorama scans use higher Y-sample counts (e.g. 256-1024) while keeping the X-sample counts low.
  3. Loading continues in the background. Once all loading work has finished, you can run the collision passes or a full panorama scan.
